We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Surveyor to join our established, growing and highly regarded practice of Chartered Building Surveyors and designers, based in Cirencester. We offer a range of building surveying services and architectural resources. A significant percentage of our work is on traditional
and Listed buildings. Most of our projects are located in the Southwest of England, predominantly in the Cotswolds. Our client base includes private clients, rural estates, local authorities, charities, developers and
contractors. Our projects are diverse, ranging from work on historic buildings including restoration and conservation, to new build residential and commercial schemes, domestic extensions, alteration, and the maintenance of public buildings.

Candidates for this position need:
• an MRICS qualification and have several years of experience. • Full driver's licence and own vehicle. • Be an organised and reliable team member. • Have a working knowledge of planning and heritage legislation and Building Regulations. •Onsite experience, project management & contract administration (JCT suite).

• Job Type: Permanent • Job Location: Cirencester, but hybrid working would be considered • Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor • Working hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.30 but flexibility expected in busy times • Career progression opportunities available
• Start date: ideally ASAP

General scope of work:
• Building Surveys, predominantly RICS Level 3 and some Level 2. Commercial Surveys. Maintenance and dilapidations inspections, schedules, and negotiations.
• Projects: Commercial, Residential, Conservation. Construction design and management for a range of commercial, residential and heritage projects.
• Practice management experience will be an advantage.
