Planning
We will take care of all aspects of applying for Planning Permission.We will give you an early assessment of the prospects for your project and advice on the best strategy for success, monitor its progress and deal with all queries, comments and objections, and ensure that any Planning Conditions are properly addressed.
Our knowledge of local planning matters and wider policy combined with regular dialogue with Planning Officers means that we have a very high success rate for all types of application.
Listed Building Consent
We can give you advice on how the Listed status of a property will impact on your plans.The interpretation of Local Authority policy and implementation of current conservation principles forms a key part of formulating the design approach to works on a Listed property. Our early involvement can help to integrate these issues within your plans.
Our experience of the processes and Listed Building policies ensures a positive relationship with the Conservation Officer and minimises any compromises in the design.
Building Regulations
We develop the details of your design to meet the construction standards, energy efficiency and other requirements of the Building Regulations.Our technical design team can produce the working drawings, details and specifications needed to meet the requirements of the current Building Regulations.
We are members of the Local Authority Building Control Partnership Scheme providing us with a direct and personal relationship to address queries and simplify and streamline the process.
Project Management
We can tailor our Project Management services to suit your requirements and co-ordinate with professional consultants, specialist designers & contractors.Working from detailed drawings and specifications we can obtain competitive tenders for the works and manage the project under a formal Building Contract.
Our site visits and close contact with the contractor will address any issues that arise during the works and ensure budgets are stuck to and deadlines are met.
We will manage the costs and payments to the contractor and deal with variations and other financial issues. This role provides an impartial and informed buffer between the client and contractor to ensure disputes and misunderstandings are minimised.
