Building & Estate Management

Our team of Chartered Surveyors are happy to carry out full or partial surveys of the school’s buildings and facilities working with your Building and Estate Management teams.

With an excellent knowledge of historic buildings and modern construction types they will provide you with a full survey report, a maintenance plan, schedule of works and outline the budget necessary for necessary repairs to be carried out.

With our extensive contacts, we are able to arrange competitive tenders with specialised contractors, agree and manage all types of work for you.

Architectural Design

Our design team will work closely with you to help create spaces that are both practical for busy day to day school life but also stylish, functional and in keeping with the architecture and character of the school as a whole.

Whether it is the refurbishment of a Listed building, extending a theatre or designing a new boarding house our team will be with you every step of the way to ensure building runs smoothly and on budget.

PPM

Planned Preventative Maintenance surveys enable building owners/ occupiers to manage maintenance and improvements over a series of years.

We will conduct a full survey of the property and prepare you a schedule of works to be carried out over the next few years alongside a maintenance plan and outline of budget costs.

This enables you to ensure your property is properly cared for, plan any work ahead of time and on budget. Work can be scheduled to coincide with school holidays wherever possible.

Reinstatement Costings

Used to insure your buildings against damage and loss. Reinstatement costings are incredibly important in case your property is damaged so for schools and historic properties an accurate reinstatement report is essential.

Our qualified surveyors will carry out a full inspection of your school and create an accurate and up to date reinstatement report for your insurers, making sure you are prepared should the worst happen.

Project Management

We can tailor our Project Management services to suit your requirements and co-ordinate with all professional consultants and specialist designers and contractors.

Working from detailed drawings and specifications we can obtain competitive tenders for the works and manage the project under a formal Building Contract.

Our site visits and close contact with the contractor will address any issues that arise during the works and ensure budgets and deadlines are met.
