As one of the leading surveying practices specialising in historic and listed properties, we have over 30 years’ experience working with large and small estates in the Cotswolds and beyond. Our team of Chartered Surveyors, Project Managers and Designers bring with them a wealth of knowledge of local and historical building techniques and will happily produce a survey of the smallest cottage to the grandest country house or farm.

Architectural & Project Management

Whether it is the refurbishment of a rental cottage, an extension to a listed building or designing a new project from scratch our Architectural team will work with you to create a design which is not only stylish and sympathetic to the history and design of the estate but also practical to work effortlessly in day to day life.

Once the design is finalised, we can help project manage it through to completion, with our excellent local contacts and knowledge of planning laws we will ensure the project runs without complication and to budget.

Planning

We will take care of all the aspects of submitting an application for Planning Permission.

We will give you an early assessment of the prospects for your project and advice on the best strategy for success, monitor its progress and deal with all queries, comments and objections, and ensure that any Planning Conditions are promptly addressed.

Our knowledge of local planning matters and wider policy combined with regular dialogue with Planning Officers and Planning Consultants means that we have a very high success rate for all types of application.

Maintenance & Repair

After we conduct a survey of the estate or farm, we will draw up a schedule of works and maintenance plan alongside a budget outline of any repairs we would recommend you carry out.

This can then be used to plan work on the estate depending on the level of urgency laid out in the plan but we will always aim to provide a range of repair needs and solutions to suit your budget.

Estate Management

If your estate needs basic repairs or a full-scale refurbishment, we are here to manage the works for you.

Our excellent local contacts help us secure competitive tenders with skilled local contractors and tradespeople and our surveyors and project managers will act for you to a schedule of work and organise works on site.

Agricultural Buildings

We work with estates and specialist contractors to design and manage buildings such as milking parlours, grain houses and cow sheds for agricultural purposes.
